He wears a large helmet, bearing dragon-type wings ~~but carries no shield. A pair of bright gold bracers adorn his wrists and around his neck he wears an amulet in the shape of a tree~~. A ~~massive~~ bastard sword ~~and a long sword are either held or~~ slung down his back, scabbarded under a ~~heavy-looking~~ backpack. ~~Other weapons – daggers and a short metal rod -~~ are sheathed and hung from the right of his ~~gem-studded~~ belt; to the left are two ~~half~~-~~full pouches~~.
