Falcor of Maladan
Falcor is a tall, broad human who is almost always encased in tight-fitting chain mail, over which he wears a simple pressed steel breast plate, on which is embossed a star, formed from two overlapping triangles. The star has recessed mountings for gemstones at the tip of each point; the uppermost, contains a stunning sapphire, in the lower resides an orange stone and in the upper left a green gem is set. He wears a large helmet, bearing dragon-type wings but carries no shield. A pair of bright gold bracers adorn his wrists and around his neck he wears an amulet in the shape of a tree. A massive bastard sword and a long sword are either held or slung down his back, scabbarded under a heavy-looking backpack. Other weapons – daggers and a short metal rod - are sheathed and hung from the right of his gem-studded belt; to the left are two half-full pouches. The Backpack is unique in design; it holds an ornately decorated quiver on one side and a satchel appears to hang from the other, whilst all manner of equipment - bedrolls, rope, lantern and even a grappling hook – is tied to it. His attempts to keep well-groomed often fail: his hair could do with more attention and his stubble is thick and wiry but not yet a beard. Bushy eyebrows and deep set, dark-brown eyes complete a slightly menacing look. Cloaked in a lion skin, robed in wolf hide, held at the neck with a golden broach in the shape of a beetle, Falcor looks every part the warrior.
