== [[Guerin]] == “So, I wondered if I might find you here,” the man’s voice echoed in the small, dark room, “you have been a very busy bee.” “Fuck off!” the oriental woman snarled. “Now, now…I have some questions that I hope you’ll be able to answer,” the man said calmly, secure in the knowledge that she was in no position to threaten him. “I will not help you,” the oriental said quietly, on the verge of tears. “Well, we shall see; you could spare yourself a great deal of pain and misery…Or you could continue to be stubborn – I care little,” the dark, hooded figure paced in front of the woman as he spoke. “You’ll have to do your worst, dog,” spat the woman, before turning to hide her fear. Throwing back his hood and opening the front of his grey robe, the man revealed strikingly handsome features: high cheek bones, a strong straight nose and a firm jaw. Dark well-kept, shoulder length hair fell neatly into place after the removed hood ruffled it momentarily. His black eyes regarded the prey before him closely. Beneath his robe was a burnished breastplate covered in strange gold runes; the metal had a faintly purple aura. Fawn was suddenly held aloft, secured between finger and thumb of the man’s left hand. His right rested easily on a plain, white staff, which looked slightly short – or at least not quite in proportion. It didn’t take long for Fawn to recognise the Staff, but it lacked the headpiece and the pommel. “That will be a pleasant distraction,” he chucked, “I know what it is anyway,” he continued eyeing Fawn intensely, “and I know where you found it.” He paused briefly to look at her, before asking, “Perhaps you know where others might lie?” “Fuck off, dog,” she repeated her curse, desperate to be free of him. “Not yet, my Lady,” he chuckled again, “I have a scent and I want to know to where it leads.”
