The Eastern Lords brought bands of gold

And Western men whose hearts were cold

Fled before their Rings of fire.


Elven Kings with gems so bright

Caused the evil to turn in flight

The stench of death still in the air.


The noble dwarves joined them both

And with them fought back the wrath

Of Evil beasts summoned from the earth.


The youngest children of Odin came

And with their crowns of light and burning flame

Drove back the darkness over the water.


Lastar made the Sarnim Stone

With ring, gem, crown and bone

To rule this land in Odin’s name.
