The Symbol
A sun that glows inside
An aura infinite
A sun that replenishes
What makes my soul?
A moon that heals wounds of time
Its faint glow as strong as light
A moon that focuses itself
On my entire being, alive
The roots of the world's trees
Sink into the ground, rise above
Incarnation of immortality
A brief body, a longer life
An ocean filled with time
Reflecting all I've found inside
Waves that lap to further shores
Viewing my soul through Ages of Man
A role always fulfilled
My part in the circle
Never denied - the others join around
Each of them makes up the other
Aspects of our being
Archetypes found through history
Balancing out - way to live
Eternal and steady -
A fire flickering, never dying
As all else passes along
An island that stays where it belongs
