Frastor's Bane
During the time spent with Elerienne, Morwath has the same recurring dream:
Morwath sees a young dwarf in beautifully crafted chain armour standing in a great hall. The Hall has the scene from Ragnarak on the walls and roof and in the middle of the floor is a Pentagram. Alone and injured, the dwarf is beset by evil all of which bear the marks of Demogorgon. He holds up a gem and utters a harsh command word causing the gem to glow and produce a great ring of blue light, shooting out like an expanding disc, destroying all the enemy it comes into contact with. He sees the Dwarf fall to his knees and stare at the gem. Getting up, he runs through a door marked with ð, above which is a carving of a Dragon’s head. The dwarf enters a circular room with a domed, golden roof. He kneels again and lifting a seemingly innocuous flag stone, he secretes the Gem.
The vision changes, yet Morwath appears to be looking at the same room. This time the darkness is only broken by a single flame emanating from one of the serpent creature’s 7 hands. She is chanting as she lifts the flagstone and discovers the shard. When exposed it briefly flashes white and blue. The serpent picks it up and lets out a horrific scream and, collapsing to one side, she drops the Gem. Turning to a servant (a Salamander), she commands him to pick up the stone - he dies instantly.
