Garret Nightglade

Garret is a halfling, so child sized, and wears an odd assortment of leather, metal, and cloth with no two pieces quite the same shade of green, brown, or black. He has daggers strapped to both legs and across his chest, and usually carries a short sword and dagger in his hands, wary of anyone and anything. His once fine features are scarred and his face is usually creased into a scowl that puts people off approaching him, even if he weren't a halfling. He has a short bow and quiver on his back, which he usually uses only for hunting. No two daggers are a match, having been bought or "acquired" from a variety of sources. His eyes are constantly shifting, looking for threats, and he rarely walks far without glances behind him. He moves unconsciously between areas of cover or shadow, although he is more comfortable outdoors, especially in the forest, where the sounds of wildlife reassure him (or warn him of danger).

He seeks the source of the evil that drove goblins to attack and slaughter his people, and is willing to suffer any discomfort to achieve that goal.
