The Sylvan Elves failed to contain Dordraug and in 942 he escaped with the 7th part of the Crown. Lucielle charged Dormarie with retrieving Dordraug and gives her the 5th Crown; Lucielle takes the Gem and the Staff to the White Council held in Aarda in 945 – the Staff passes to Haemrandir for study.

Lucielle was Killed by Eolire in 987 but the Gem of Life was never recovered.
